Early Childhood
Forest Preschool Program
This program is offered to our 3- and 4-year old’s. The program runs from Monday to Friday, from 7AM- 5:30. Our adventures to the forest are from 9:30 to 11:30, again from 3:00 to 4:30. We return back to site at 4:30 for free play until pick up.
Little Seedlings Program
This program is offered to children from the ages of 15months to 2 years of age. We have a beautiful natural playground to explore, and spend as much time as possible outdoors with our little ones. We bring many items from nature into our outdoor play area collected from the forest to expose the children to new materials to work with, as well items from the centre, incorporating water play, dramatic play, healthy risk play, sand and mud play.
We strive to offer a variety of fun summer programs for kids who enjoy and appreciate nature. From survival skills and tracking, to pottery and cooking; Cedar Brook offers a wholesome learning environment based on the values of respect, friendship and self-awareness. We offer a platform for youth to discover and explore the things they love to do in nature.
- A 1:9 staff to student ratio allowing for individual mentoring experiences
